We were so lucky
to meet Penny shortly after she opened the Henderson House. Our mother,
Virginia Nell Boyles was at home the very first day she moved in.
She loved Penny, her staff and all five of her new resident friends.
We all had many laughs and even a few tears together and our three
year stay was a joyful experience. Penny's close attention to details
and her sincere love for her resident family have made the Henderson
House tops in this community for comfortable, clean, healthy, friendly
assisted living for our parents during their latter years. I can't
say enough about the wonderful staff of ladies who are on duty to
care for every resident's needs twenty four hours a day. Penny is
a registered nurse with many years of experience working in other
local assisted living facilities. She has learned the best and worst
features of this critical business and always takes a special interest
in all of her guest residents and their family's needs and wishes.
Well, if you are lucky enough to get a room for your loved one at
the Henderson House you will avoid much of the hassle and worries
you would experience in our area's larger facilities. When that tough
time comes for Hospice to step in to assist in the delicate care and
to help with the extra costs of medication and special equipment they
are welcome at the Henderson house. There are many plusses but the
main plus is the friendly, loving atmosphere for our parents.
Mr. Joe Boyles
